We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our clients quality assurance efforts for a company based in Northern Ireland.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and a proven track record of ensuring product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards for the bakery company.

· Monitor and enforce compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards.

· Collaborate with production teams to ensure adherence to quality guidelines throughout the baking process.

· Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify areas for improvement.

· Lead and manage a team of quality control technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

· Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, including customer complaints and internal non-conformities.

· Develop and maintain quality metrics, reports, and documentation to track and communicate performance.

· Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and ingredients used in the bakery.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

· Stay current with industry trends and advancements to proactively address emerging quality challenges.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or related field.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality management within the FMCG sector

· Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP standards.

· Experience leading quality control teams and managing quality assurance programs.

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address quality issues effectively.

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and with external partners.

· Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high product quality standards.

· Proven ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices.
