Quality Technician / CMM

TRIGO provides a comprehensive range of corrective and preventative quality inspection and management services.
We are currently working with a well-known aerospace supplier based in Southampton that are seeking a Quality Control Technician for a period of 3 months, that may be extended for a further 3 months thereafter.
Purpose of the role:
Inspection of manufactured parts against drawing, model-based definition and other design data.
You will join a team of quality controllers who realise the discharge of these activities within the metallic details value stream.
The role will involve 2D inspection using traditional measuring equipment and CMM inspection.
CMM (PCMIS).
Main Responsibilities:
* Inspection of aerospace components against design data (2D drawings, 3D model) condition of supply, inspections plans.
* Sheet and machine details
* Preparation and completion of FAI reports
* Review of paperwork
Previous experience of using measuring equipment and proven experience of understanding engineering drawings.
