Quantity Surveyor (Intermediate / Project/ Senior)
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000 – £65000/annum
We are looking to recruit Quantity Surveyors at Intermediate / Project / Senior level for a number of developers / main contractors based in the North West region.
The roles are based in Manchester, Liverpool and also Preston and Lancaster. All for reputable companies working on major projects £20m+ mainly residential / mixed use developments. Alternatively a role managing a number of smaller projects with total value up to £20m.
Excellent opportunities for Quantity Surveyors to join strong and established commercial teams and work for some of the regions leading developers / contractors working on exciting developments.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage and Oversee all financial aspects of a project through to final account.
* Provide Commercial Guidance on project performance via accurate forecasting.
* Manage and Control Subcontractors to ensure all costs constraints are met.
* Ensure all contractual requirements are met by the project team.
* Identify and Price all variations.
* Prepare estimates at tender stage.
Ideal Candidate:
Main Contractor experience would be advantageous
Must have a proven track record in managing all commercial aspects of construction from inception to completion.
Excellent communication skills required, and the ability to read, understand and organize construction plans and specifications is essential.
