Are you a Relief Chef looking for a Chef de Partie position? As relief chef de partie you will be paid hourly and hours can be flexible to suit you. This Chef de Partie role would be ideal for an individual that is capable of maintaining the high standards of the menu. You may be a head or sous chef but want to take a step back and work on a relief basis until you find your next suitable role. Equally, if you’re a seasoned relief chef this is the opportunity to work with a great venue and team.
Chef de Partie Ideal Profile
* Competency in all sections of the kitchen
* Capable of maintaining high standards of menu items
* Able to stay calm under pressure
* An individual with high food safety standards
* Punctual
* Able to cover a section under the supervision and direction of the senior brigade
Chef de Partie Responsibilities
* Competent in all sections of the kitchen (pastry isn’t essential)
* Compliant with all Health & Safety and High food safety standards
* Comfortable rotating stock
* Prepping the station ready for service
* Aiding the Head and Sous Chef with basic training
* Informing the Sous and Head Chef of any supplies which need ordering
* Preparing food to a high standard
* Making sure food waste is minimised and optimising stock to its full capacity
* Give your input on new recipes and menus for the kitchen
