Are you a Relief Chef de Partie looking for guaranteed work during the holiday season? In this position, you will be guaranteed work for 4 weeks within a friendly village pub that offers guests classic high-quality British food. Do you want to still have time for family and friends over the Christmas period? Alongside the assured work this position also comes with Christmas day off.
Chef de Partie Ideal Profile
* In a commutable distance of the venue, with own transport
* Competency in all sections of the kitchen
* Capable of maintaining high standards of menu items
* Able to stay calm under pressure
* An individual with high food safety standards
* Punctual
* Able to cover a section under the supervision and direction of the senior brigade
Chef de Partie Responsibilities
* Competent in all sections of the kitchen (pastry isn’t essential)
* Compliant with all Health & Safety and High food safety standards
* Comfortable rotating stock
* Prepping the station ready for service
* Aiding the Head and Sous Chef with basic training
* Informing the Sous and Head Chef of any supplies which need ordering
* Preparing food to a high standard
* Making sure food waste is minimised and optimising stock to its full capacity
* Give your input on new recipes and menus for the kitchen
