Salary £26k-£28k per annum depending on experience + benefits.
Full time, 5 days over 7 days across both weekdays and weekends.
We are looking for a Full time Bar/Restaurant supervisor to assist with the day to day running of our Dining room and Orangery. Predominantly supporting our Afternoon Tea and Dinner service in our fine dining restaurant, but also supporting other areas such as weddings, functions, conferences and breakfast as required.
Due to our rural location access to a vehicle is essential therefore we ask you to consider this before applying.
Skills required:
Excellent communication skills.
Professional attitude with a polite and friendly demeanour.
Ability to work within a team or individually as required.
Good timekeeping skills.
Strong bar/beverage background is essential as this is a key part of the role.
A passion for excellent customer service.
Duties will include:
Assisting the Restaurant manager with all aspects of the running of the Dining room on a day-to-day basis.
Undertaking a key responsibility or front of House operations.
Ensuring everything required is prepared and ready for service.
Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards in the bar and restaurant and all associated areas.
Ensuring guests receive the 5-star experience they are expecting.
Participating in required wine/food training.
Assisting with weddings, functions and conferences.
Supervising and training junior staff to a high standard and encouraging career development.
Cashing up.
Assisting with orders/stock level management.
