Restaurant General Manager
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000/annum Additional bonuses
D & R Recruitment are welcoming an experienced restaurant general manager to jump on board and work full time with our well-established customer, in a 4-star hotel based in Hertfordshire.
This is an immediately available position, and the successful candidate will be experienced in the below:
* Meeting & greeting guests upon arrival of the venue.
* Managing a venue so that all guests are receiving excellent service throughout the duration of their visit.
* Managing the shifts and the staff who are on duty.
* Training new starters to the company’s standards
* Achieving budgets
* Implementing new ideas and recommendations
* Working closely with the kitchen, the executive and the head chef regarding the menu, bookings, and functions
* Ensuring that the staffing levels are correct for the day.
* Managing the customers queries
* Keeping the cleanliness and hygiene standard of the venue at an excellent standard constantly
Successful candidates must have:
* Excellent presentation
* The flexibility to work 5 out of 7 days a week- this will include weekends & evenings.
* A hands-on attitude and be able to get involved in the day-to- day operation of a 4* hotel and the restaurant.
* Own transport
