Restaurant Manager
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000 – £40000/annum Additional bonuses
D & R Recruitment have an amazing opening for an experienced restaurant manager.
The restaurant is based in Welywn.
The position is offering an immediate start and the successful candidate will be experienced and confident in:
* Meeting & greeting guests upon arrival of the venue.
* Managing a venue so that all guests are receiving excellent service throughout the duration of their visit.
* Managing the shifts and the staff who are on duty.
* Training new starters to the company’s standards
* Achieving budgets
* Implementing new ideas and recommendations
* Working closely with the kitchen, the executive and the head chef regarding the menu, bookings, and functions
* Ensuring that the staffing levels are correct for the day.
* Managing the customers queries
* Keeping the cleanliness and hygiene standard of the venue at an excellent standard constantly
Successful candidates must have:
* Excellent presentation
* The flexibility to work 5 out of 7 days a week- this will include weekends & evenings.
* A hands-on attitude and be able to get involved in the day-to- day operation of a 4* hotel and the restaurant.
* Own transport
