A well established co-edition publisher in Central London is looking for a Foreign Rights / Editorial candidate to join their team! You will join a small, hard-working and dedicated team to work on a broad range of books for the gift, humour, how-to and reference markets.

The successful candidate will be a driven individual with excellent commercial understanding. The focus of this role will be heavily upon co-edition sales and editorial – chasing new contacts, growing the European and US business and driving the publishing programme. You must have working knowledge of publishing sales ideally within co-editions rights.

Being a hybrid role some experience working across Editorial would be beneficial as you will play a pivotal link to the pitching department and focus on ideas-generation, developing new proposals and managing authors, editors, designers and freelancers.

Other key responsibilities will include managing new titles through production process, briefing text and design to editorial staff, negotiating fees where necessary, and overseeing the editorial processes.
