Business Development Manager Security Consultancy Surrey

A well-established Cyber Security Consultancy based in the heart of Surrey is looking for a Public Sector focussed Business Development Manager to join there sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leads the process of establishing substantive pipeline through the qualification and securing of new sales leads, using various direct and indirect methods such as phone calls, targeted marketing campaigns and networking. The role works cross-functionally with Pre-Sales, Sales, Customer Success, external stakeholders, and other subject matter experts in order to build brand awareness and increase sales across a range of products and services delivered by the Company.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience;-
• Experience in a business development capacity closing net new business.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role.
• At least 2 years’ experience within a B2B sales environment.
• Proven experience achieving business development or sales targets.
• Experience with the sales cycle process, including cold calling and lead nurturing.
• Proven experience in generating substantive net new business opportunities.
• Hand on experience using CRM tools (Salesforce).
• Ability to discuss and demonstrate business benefits and value to prospects.
• Ability to manage a number of on-going projects both effectively and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Full drivers licence and willingness to travel.
