Our client is looking for an ambitious BDM to join their team.
Our client are an expert in digital transformation since 2011. For eleven years, they have been taking a connected approach to AV solutions, electrical contracting, and network infrastructure across stadia, hospitality, retail, public sector, and corporate settings.
Their client list is vast and includes household names and blue-chip enterprises, as well as public sector organisations, including the MOD. They are proud to work with world-famous sports clubs, installing and managing solutions for some of the UK’s largest stadiums, as well as internationally renowned restaurant chains and stores.
Day to day responsibilities:
* Create and execute AV profitable business plans in collaboration with the sales leadership team
* Establish relationships with existing and new clients, partners, and manufacturers
* Ensure adequate pipeline coverage across the nominated target territory and be proficient in maintaining customer records in the CRM system.
* Maximise Sales Efficiency & Effectiveness through the right enablement and solution support
* Be the voice of the customer when liaising back with our clients supporting teams.
* Lead engagement with alliance partners to build differentiated solutions & campaigns
* As Business Development Manager, you will work at a strategic level with our client. You will be responsible for co-creating, implementing, and iterating the Go-To-Market strategy developed for your clients, following a proven framework (MEDDICC).
Experience required to be successful in the role:
* Good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen – You are aligned with our core values.
* Typically 5+ years of directly experienced in solution sales with a strong and demonstrable background of target achievement within the AV Industry. Ideally, you will have either worked with a systems integration business or are looking to move from a distribution business to a front-line end-user role.
* Position value and build cost-benefit business cases for potential customers to meet their needs.
* Reach out to customers and generate customer leads
* Achieve targets and outcomes and manage sales forecasts
* Prioritising, time management and organisational skills
* Deep understanding of Audio Visual industry services & solutions market, business management, sales challenges and strategies.
* Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Coverage: You will initially be based in Reading 2-3 days per week to learn the role and the succesful candidate will eventually be based 1-day WFH, 1 day in Reading Office, 3 Days outfield based.
Salary: £30000 – £50000 PA (depending on experience) – First year OTE 20k – 30k on top of base salary (depending on base rate). Bonuses are paid quarterly, so if they don’t meet one month’s target, but compensate the following month – both months will be classed as targets met.
