New Business Development – Managed IT Services

An established MSP based in The Southeast is looking for a New Business Development Manager.

Basic salary is negotiable and uncapped commission.

Candidates must have sales experience in B2B and MSP/Managed services. It will be a 360 role with a 50/50 focus on expanding existing and new business. The role will be based near Farnborough and some field work. No company car, but all travel/millage will be fully expensed.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and sales focused individual who has a passion for technology and working in a small target driven team.

There will be a small number of accounts to manage immediately, though this role will primarily focus on developing new business opportunities, selling full managed IT Services including IT Support, cloud, Cyber, connectivity and VOIP Solutions.

This Business Development role will be supported by outbound marketing campaigns delivered by 3rd party agencies which will ultimately be managed by the New Business Development Manager.

Key Responsibilities: –

• Generation of new business

• Developing a sustained pipeline of clients.

• Contact potential clients

• Attend onsite and virtual conferences, meetings, and industry events

• Undertaking networking, email and phone campaigns, face to face meetings and presentations

• Maximising revenue and opportunity from new opportunities

• Generating accurate and timely quotations/proposals for new clients

• Following up on quotations and proposals

• Achievement of hard and soft monthly, quarterly, and annual targets

Key Skills: –

• Proficient Microsoft licensing knowledge, Volume, SPLA, M365 & Office 365

• A good understanding of Backup and DR technologies, including Business Continuity

• A good understanding of Cyber Security technologies and Data Protection policies

• The ability to keep up to date with evolving technologies

• Provide clear and precise information that is understood on a basic level by technical and non-technical individuals

• Good commercial awareness and understanding of business needs, from SME's

You will be responsible for finding new opportunities mostly by phone, meetings and social media marketing. This is a full 360 role.

It is essential that all candidates have first class communication skills – written and verbal, time management, client care skills, well organised, show initiative, work to strict deadlines and work effectively under pressure
