Area to be covered: London

Remuneration: £50,000-£60,000 Neg. + £5,000 Bonus

The role of the Specification Sales Manager – High Pressure Laminate Surfaces will involve:

* Field sales position selling our clients manufactured range of high pressure laminate HPL and materials for interior design

* Targeting a wide variety of sectors including: commercial, education, healthcare, transport, hospitality and retail to name just a few (end users include schools, hospitals, high street stores, commercial office, sports centres, student accommodation, airports etc)

* Majority of your time will be spent in London targeting the top 200 A&D practises advising architects and interior designers in respect of product information, (e.g. sizes, choice of colours etc), training, technical advice, trend presentations and support

* Remainder of time with fabricators and D&B design and build contractors

* Inheriting a project bank of circa £12m, with a view to growing the “funnel” value to £20m (recording £125,000 of projects on our clients CRM system per week)

* Tasked with achieving approx £5-6m revenue

* Project sixes up to £150,000 but an average order value circa £20,000

* Achieving five calls per day on average

The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager – High Pressure Laminate Surfaces with:

* Must have a proven field sales specification background within interior building products

* Open to a wide variety of decorative, tactile / aesthetically pleasing interior products such as; carpets, curtains, lighting, fabrics, flooring, wall coverings, textiles, paint etc

* Ideally specification sales experience with A&D architects and interior designers in the London community

* Comfortable building relationships with architects and interior designers in London, including lunch & learns, CPD’s and other social appointments

* Self sufficient problem solver with a learn as you develop attitude

* Sales attributes such as negotiation skills, commercial awareness and strong decision making will be advantageous
