Office based: Wiltshire
Remuneration: £50,000neg + £15,000 Commission

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Office Furniture Design Consultancy will involve:
* Field sales client facing business development position, selling our clients’ high value office furniture design consultancy solutions (leading partner to a tier 1 office furniture manufacturer)
* Targeting large corporate end users as well as universities and opportunities within NHS frameworks
* Predominately a field based role, however when you’re not on the road you’ll be office based
* Utilising existing frameworks within existing customers to identify new buildings and projects
* Predominantly a new business development role within known customers
* Leads supplied from Glenigan and Barbour ABI as well as having access to our clients’ well-established database of contacts
* Making the most of your own contacts within the industry
* Projects are typically £200,000 for small projects, £600,000 for medium sized projects and £1m+ for large
* Targeted to achieve £1.25m-£1.5m
* Creating customer proposals and presentations, managing responses to FRI’s & tenders
* Attending all necessary client and site visits and hosting manufacturer showroom visits
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Office Furniture Design Consultancy with:
* Proven field sales track record in client facing new business development
* Must have sold products or services to end users
* Office furniture industry experience preferred (may be open to other interior products if sold into corporate end users)
* Ideally sold high value products, services and / or complex solutions into major corporations
* Experience selling into the education sector would also be of interest
* Comfortable and credible presenting at the highest level
* Highly motivated and commercially minded
* Comfortable with complex sales process
* Stable employment record
