Sales Consultant OEM
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £40000/annum
Our client has a permanent vacancy for a Sales Consultant, dealing with Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM). This role covers Dudley, Hereford, LLandridod Wells, Worcester.
They are looking for a driven individual, who is keen to learn and develop to join the team in
maintaining and developing existing business within the OEM customer base, and target competitor
business they don't currently have. The right candidate would be tasked with looking for new business that they are currently unaware of in the form of new accounts as well as targeting competitor business and work with distributors in accounts currently managed by the distributors.
Essential Requirements:
• Previous experience in generating and converting prospects into Sales, ideally in the same/similar
industry or similar sector
• A proven understanding of electronic products and components ideally developed within fields
such as automation, manufacturing, consumer good and automotive sector.
• Customer negotiation skills
• Proactive nature to sales.
• Organised, approachable, dependable, and willing to go the extra mile.
Desirable:
• Background in engineering or technical environment would be advantageous
• Confident in interacting with all levels of customer contacts from Engineers to Managing Directors
• Problem-solving abilities
