Area to be covered: Midlands
Remuneration: £45,000 + £10,000-£12,000 bonus
Benefits: £500 per month car allowance & full benefits
The role of the Area Sales Manager – Electrical Equipment and EV Charging will involve:
* Field sales position selling a wide range of manufactured electrical equipment including, enclosed switchgear, components, consumer units, enclosures, EV charging and CEE plugs and sockets
* 80% of your time selling into electrical wholesalers
* 20% stimulating demand with electrical contractors and electrical installers
* 50% new business development (400+ accounts to target)
* 50% account management (80-120 spending accounts, largest contributes £600,000)
* Ledger responsibility for circa £1.5m, currently performing on budget
* 4-5 customer visits per day
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Electrical Equipment and EV Charging with:
* Field sales experience within the electrical sector
* Must have sold into electrical wholesale
* Ideally also created demand with electrical contractors or electrical installers
* Open on which electrical products sold
* Demonstrable track record in new business and account management
* Personable, team player, people person, driven and enthusiastic
