Business Development Manager

Salary : £55000 – £65000/annum
We are currently seeking an experienced, ambitious Business Development Manager to penetrate major accounts in the Healthcare market to NHS and direct to Hospital Trusts,, Education sector and Facilities Management sector. This is a great opportunity for a self-starting sales professional to focus on our client's unique and differentiated products whilst also supplying the company’s existing product ranges.
This is a field-based, National role with a weekly meeting at the company’s head office (in Shrewsbury). Ideally you will be located in or close to the North (Merseyside / Manchester). The role is 50% Business Development / 50% Account Management of existing Healthcare clients (largely from Northampton up to the North West)
Key responsibilities:
* Driving business growth to achieve sales targets
* Proactively prospect new accounts to build a comprehensive opportunity pipeline and increase brand awareness
* Arrange and deliver successful business meetings with prospective clients
* Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Requirements
* A true sales “hunter” mentality with a proven track record on the field
* Proven major contract sales experience in above sectors
* Self-starter, reliable and trustworthy
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Experience with FMCG industry
