Main Duties as Business Development Director will include:
* Handle pre-qualified leads working with the BD team
* Conduct face-to-face client meetings.
* Answer client queries and provide relevant information to maximise sales potential.
* Maintain a comprehensive understanding of company processes
* Stay up to date with industry and company trends and developments.
* Attend regular networking events, actively engage in the industry, and meet with technology partners.
* Work closely with our partnership managers at Shopify, Magento and Big Commerce to maintain a strong relationship.
* Ensure monthly sales targets are met.
* Grow and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
* Negotiate and close new business opportunities.
Ideal candidates will:
* Have strong senior level Business Development experience
* Ideally have knowledge of ecommerce – Shopify, Magento or eCommerce or similar
* Passionate about digital marketing and an understanding of web development lifecycles would be beneficial
* Have an excellent and demonstrable sales record, dealing with blue chip clients would be a distinct advantage
* Be commercially aware with an ability to maximize opportunities.
* Have excellent communication and negotiation skills and will be articulate with a high standard of written English and presentation skills.
* Have an ability to manage workload and priorities.
* Be motivational and inspire trust, confidence and enthusiasm.
* Be polished, professional and sophisticated.
* Have the maturity and gravitas to deal with and influence senior decision makers.
