Sales and Distribution Coordinator
Our client, a leading distribution company based in Norwich, is currently seeking a Sales and Distribution Coordinator to join their hardworking team.
This is initially a full-time 3-month temporary position working 08.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday and 08:30am to 4.30pm on Fridays providing cover for Sickness and Holidays. This role may go permanent for the right person.
As the Sales and Distribution Coordinator, you will be responsible for the receipt of customer orders, accurate input of orders into the computer system and monitoring the progress of orders, keeping customers informed. Ensuring adequate transport to complete customer orders.
Other Key Duties of the Sales and Distribution Coordinator include:-
* Assist with the delivery of sales volumes, and prices across all products in the area through the supporting of telephone sales.
* Assist in chasing quotations and maintaining order Bank.
* Achieving agreed targets relating to volume, margin & profit.
* Understanding the market including competitors' activity.
* Maintaining regular customer contact.
* Building developing new business.
* Producing analyses/reports of performing targets.
* Attend to customer enquiries promptly & efficiently.
* Admin duties
