We have a fantastic opportunity for 2 committed and enthusiastic Apprentices to work at the heart of our Sales team, in a role that will operate globally and be involved in all aspects of the sales process.
You will be getting stuck in with different projects for all product lines, generating reports to assist with sales calls and will be exposed to different teams across the business and externally to build experience and knowledge of the whole publishing process.
As a Sales Apprentice, you will be studying for the L4 Sales Executive qualification which will provide you with the most up-to-date knowledge on how to build, execute and maintain customer engagement to create sales. In this role, you will also be interacting daily with internal stakeholders and external customers, so a passion for providing great customer service is key. You’ll also need a great eye for detail, as you will be working with a range of data and supporting the onboarding of new customers.
Over the course of the apprenticeship, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of areas including sales campaigns, helping deliver pricing proposals and implementing sales agreements. We’ll ensure you have the chance to learn on the job with mentoring and development from our colleagues, putting your 20% off the job training to practical use to cement your learning. Upon completion, you'll have developed and honed your knowledge and skills to grow your career within a sales environment.

What will these roles involve?
Supporting sales teams, tasks are likely to include:
* Providing administrative support to sales and Open Access sales department
* Working on internal systems to implement sales agreements, including SAP, SalesForce and our inhouse tools
* Generate reports that assist in sales analysis and account management processes
* Handle mailings of new title information
* Work with marketing to prepare information for sales campaigns
* Handle customer service inquiries, on both the reading / access side and the Open Access publishing side
* Set up calls with customers to discuss any queries and explain terms of different agreements
* Respond to customer queries regarding the Research Dashboard
* Support the sales team by working with internal databases to provide reporting and information on an as needed basis
* Work with Sales Managers to provide pricing and customer proposals
* Work with Inside Sales Executives on Archive and DR follow ups and calls
* Training internal colleagues on systems
You will work towards gaining:
* Level 4 Apprenticeship as a Sales Executive (standard)
* You will need to complete an End Point Assessment to successfully pass your apprenticeship
