Role Overview:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be crucial to driving business growth, responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and building relationships to expand the client’s customer base. This role will focus on lead generation, prospecting, and market research, directly contributing to meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

– Lead Generation: The SDR will establish a strong pipeline by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to support revenue goals. Through targeted research, they will pinpoint prospects and uncover growth opportunities.

– Prospecting: They will engage potential clients across multiple channels, including cold calls, email campaigns, social media, and networking events, ensuring connections with key decision-makers.

– Relationship Building: By understanding client needs, the SDR will develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients, offering tailored solutions that align with their objectives.

– Pipeline Management: Responsible for managing leads through the sales process, the SDR will ensure accurate CRM documentation and timely follow-ups.

– Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product, the SDR will help refine and execute effective lead generation strategies.

– Market Awareness: Staying up to date on industry trends and competitor activities, they will identify and communicate new opportunities.

– Reporting: The SDR will regularly update and report on lead generation activities, progress, and results.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

– Experience: The ideal candidate will have a background in Sales Development, Business Development, or similar fields, where customer engagement and lead generation are key. Cold-calling experience is advantageous.

– Client Engagement & Prospecting: They will be skilled in relationship building and lead conversion, and proficient in outreach techniques such as cold calling, emails, and networking.

– Market Knowledge: A strong understanding of industry trends and competitor dynamics to spot and act on business opportunities.

– CRM Familiarity: Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
