School Cook

Salary : £11.81 – £13.17/hour
VNA Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Cook for a lovely and small Primary School based in Lyme Regis, Dorset.
This position will be temporary to begin with and after a successful temporary period, it will go permanent. This is to start on the first day back in September.
This role will be for about 17.5 hours per week.
Main responsibilities and duties:
* To generate and process all food orders, pass invoices for payment and to keep all records and stock books, as required
* To prepare, cook, manage and serve school meals
* To supervise lunch time service
* To maintain all areas of the kitchen and pieces of equipment, to necessary standards of kitchen hygiene
* Wash up, as appropriate
* To prepare beverages and refreshments, as requested
* Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people in accordance with the school’s safeguarding and child protection policy
Qualifications:
* Level 2 food hygiene
