School Kitchen Assistant
Job Type : Temporary, Part Time, Part Time
Salary : £9/hour
SNS Recruitment are currently recruiting for Qualified & Experienced Catering Assistants /Kitchen Porter to cover Temporary and ongoing assignments for their clients schools located around the London Area.
Monday to Friday (Term times only)
Hours vary between
10am – 3pm
Responsibilities;
* Supporting chefs in a specific work section.
* Washing, peeling and preparing food items.
* Using a variety of kitchen equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters.
* Unloading deliveries.
* Organising the Kitchen.
* Washing kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls etc.
The ideal candidate will –
* Be flexible with working hours
* Be willing and able to travel within London
* Be self-motivated
* Have a valid Enhanced DBS Check (Required for schools, nurseries & Care homes)
* Have Food Hygiene & Safety Certificate Level 2
* Have previous work experience in a similar role
