SEMI-SENIOR ACCOUNTANT IN BEDFORD, BEDFORDSHIRE- JOB REF: JO32979
Accountancy Elite are thrilled to be partnered with a fantastic Accountancy Practice based in Bedford. This company serve a wide range of clients in the local and surrounding areas. Due to a period of continued expansion this company is looking to grow their team.
The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who is either AAT qualified and/or working towards their ACCA/ACA qualification OR someone who is nearing completion of their AAT. A minimum of 2 years' UK Accountancy Practice experience is required. Good knowledge of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks is also desired.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
* Preparation of accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
* General bookkeeping duties for clients.
* Building strong relationships with new and existing clients.
* Self-Assessment Tax returns.
* Use of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks.
Candidates Attributes:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in UK Accountancy Practice.
* AAT qualified or late stage AAT and progressing with ACCA or ACA qualification.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Experience with Xero/QuickBooks or similar cloud software packages.
