SEND Teaching Assistant
Job Type : Contract, Part Time, Part Time
Salary : £85 – £95/day
Clockwork Education have been approached by a lovely, welcoming school in Durham City Centre to assist them to find a SEND Teaching Assistant to support them ASAP.
The role will be working with a group of children within KS2 with a range of needs including ADHD and challenging behaviour.
Responsibilities
·Working within KS2 of the school to support a group of students with a range of needs
·Recording evidence of child meeting targets
·Using own initiative to take the lead and to change activity plans if needed
Requirements
·Level 2 qualification
·Ability to provide 2 x educational based references
·Confident and experienced in working with small groups of children
·Excellent numeracy and literacy knowledge
·Good behaviour management
