My client is a leading independent pensions, investments and employee benefits specialist providing bespoke services and solutions to small and large businesses.
Due to a growth they are looking for a Senior Actuarial Consultant to join their successful and friendly team.
Responsibilities include:
* Analysing data and preparing calculations relating to pension schemes
* Producing letters and reports for review
* accounting disclosures
* Actuarial costings
* Liaising with Investment Managers and clients
* Suggesting changes to current working practices to implement improvement
Qualifications for this role would assume some experience working in the pensions industry and:
* Mathematics degree at 2.1 or equivalent
* Passes in several actuarial exams, close to part qualification as FIA or FFA
* Professional qualification as a Fellow of Institute and Faculty of Actuaries to be supported
* Ability to absorb technical information
* Strong communication skills
