Senior Binding Authority Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £50000 – £80000/annum
Our client, an ambitious and growing independent specialist London based Insurance Broker, is looking for an experienced Binding Authority Technician.
We are specifically looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
* Experience in the Delegated Authority space with good contacts in Lloyd’s team.
* Good working knowledge of Lloyd’s systems, Atlas, DCOM and others.
* Ability to create binders and endorsements from scratch.
* Understanding of the various clauses needed that relate to a wording.
* Understanding of taxation rules for different countries, particularly Surplus Lines.
* Ability to read and query both written and paid premium bordereaux.
* Ability to instruct the processing team and supply information they require to process through to underwriters.
* Understanding and ability to facilitate the signing process, FDO’s etc.
* Ability to calculate Earned to Incurred figures, with an understanding of loss triangles
