Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £90000 – £120000/annum plus Excellent Benefits
Up to £120k – Office based working from City London Office – Senior Infrastructure Engineer for a market leading company within Financial Services / Capital Markets.
Due to significant growth an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join this fast paced traditional capital markets company to provide ongoing project-based engineering work.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of desktops, servers, networking, public cloud and applications, both off the shelf and internally developed bespoke.
The ideal Senior Infrastructure Engineer should have:
* 8 years experience in provisioning and maintaining development, test, and production infrastructure platforms and Infrastructure specific applications.
* Solid Project Engineering experience, owning it and delivering it.
* An in-depth knowledge of IT infrastructures, OS platforms, hardware, storage and networks.
* Hands-on experience with Windows
* Hands-on experience with Linux
* Cisco Networking Experience (CCNA level or above)
* Solid experience of AWS
* Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, understanding setup through the troubleshooting
* Experience in automating infrastructure services using tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, Python and Terraform
* Delivery and execution of CI/CD pipelines
