Our client, a leading publication in the technology & scientific sector , are seeking a Senior Marketing Executive to support the acquisition team by creating and delivering subscription campaigns with a strong focus on customer journeys.

In this hands-on role you will assist in the creation and delivery of assets for acquisition marketing campaigns in line with the acquisition strategy and support both the CRM Manager & Digital Marketing Manager to facilitate the building of customer journeys to take users from anonymous to premium customers. Ideally, the ideal candidate will have a strong adapt for data and analysis and support the team with analysis of marketing campaigns.

The Senior Marketing Executive will also support the central marketing team with the coordination & scheduling of marketing campaigns across all business units through internal owned channels.

By assisting with the delivery and implementation of marketing plans, and effectively managing and growing our paid ancillary products, this role will contribute to achieving the teams target of increasing customer acquisition volumes, value, engagement and retention.

Campaign coordination

Working with the Head of Acquisitions and the Creative Director plan, schedule, coordinate and manage the creative briefing and artwork execution element of our annual campaign cycle (currently 5 per year)
Work closely with CRM manager & Digital marketing manager to assist in building out customer journeys through their respective channels
Own and manage the schedule ensuring enough time for delivery to campaign deadline
Work with the Creative Director on clear, concise, succinct briefing process, championing and policing best practice across the business
Writing creative briefs for marketing collateral required for promotions including proofing and obtaining sign off by the relevant Manager
Manage and coordinate house ad scheduling across marketing department ensuring products are prioritised as directed by Head of Acquisitions
Become a proficient user of the Email Service Provider in order to set up email marketing campaigns
To co-ordinate and manage the Marketing Communications Campaign Calendar which is used company wide, and chair monthly meetings
Raising Purchase Orders and processing invoices as required Campaign reporting & development

Support the team with analysis of marketing campaigns, using a variety of proprietary software applications
Assisting with the creation and delivery of performance to share results with the wider team
