The role
As a growing game development and art outsourcing studio, Skyhook work on a variety of fantastic games. We are seeking an experienced Producer to manage the development process of both internal Skyhook IP and external work-for-hire projects. Working from initial concept design through to final commercial mastering/client sign-off, you will work closely across all studio disciplines, taking overall responsibility for quality and scheduling. As Senior Producer you will work with producers, Head of Production and other internal departments to ensure expectations are met and exceeded.
What will you do?
Key duties include:
Direct, implement and execute the development path and schedule
The setting and tracking of milestone deliverables
Coordinating projects with involvement and support from relevant internal stakeholders
Collaborate with the Head of Production to help lead the development team, ensuring common focus and direction on key values
Identifying and resolving conflict as it arises
Delivering implementation of design’s vision within agreed time and managing resources, to agreed quality and within agreed budgets
Engaging with key QA stakeholders to ensure that relevant QA test cases are understood during development and are tested against by the QA team, minimising negative impact during finaling
Coordinating teams to ensure project milestones and delivery deadlines are met
Reporting milestone progress to key leaders internally and externally
Mentoring team members, and liaise with external clients as required
Learning staff skills and identifying areas for training and recruitment
Preparing and managing project budgets ensuring mitigation plans and early warning of project overruns are communicated early
Managing relationships with clients and development partners
Any additional duties/ expectations as an employee of the company above and beyond specific job role
What experience do you need?
Proven experience within a Senior Producer role, or equivalent
Full cycle as senior producer on at least one commercially released game
Experience in leading and providing feedback to team in a similar role
A strong eye for detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A strong understanding and passion for games and their development

Previous exposure to art outsourcing

Hours of work
35 hours a week (Flexi-time at 7 hours each day. Core hours are 10 am-4 pm.) This role can be offered on a contract or permanent basis to candidates based in the UK with full working rights. This role is offered onsite, hybrid or remote UK
