We're on the lookout for Senior Sous Chefs to join several of our well-established client in Oxford.
About the role:
To support and assist both the Executive Head Chef and Head Chef in their duties ensuring the efficient day to day operation of the catering food production operation across multiple sections.
You will deputise for the Head Chef in their absence and ensure consistency and quality at every service.
You will be involved in several areas of the business and be integral in the management and development of all the food and hospitality.
About You:
Excellent communication skills using a helpful problem-solving manner.
A sympathetic listening approach.
Be passionate about what you do and be willing to learn and grow.
Lead by example.
A strong awareness of Food Hygiene Regulations incorporating Assured Safe Catering, Allergen Management, COSHH and HASAW.
Experience in a quality catering operation.
Planning and prioritisation skills.
Professional knowledge of food preparation, food service, wine/beverage operations.
Possess the drive and self-motivation to maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge relating to food trends and methods of food preparation and production.
Working Hours:
Variable shifts available covering 42.5h weekdays and weekends.
