Are you an experienced Service advisor?

A vacancy has arisen for a highly motivated customer facing Service Advisor within our family ran business.

This is a full-time position within a very busy environment working as part of a dedicated and successful team. As a Service advisor you will need to be an organised and well-presented team player, capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines as well as being able to handle our customers with care and sensitivity.

The successful candidate for the Service Advisor position will have the following attributes: –

* Excellent communications, inter personal and organisational skills

* Flexibility, confidence and enthusiasm

* Computer literate

* Self motivation

* Possess a high standard of personal presentation

The Service Advisor will contribute to the efficient operation of the Service Department, maximising guest experience and departmental profitability.

You’ll be the link between our customers and the workshop and will manage their experience from beginning to end. You will schedule services and repairs, liaise with our parts team, suggest additional products and services to the customer, and make sure all invoicing is accurate and timely.

Successful applicants will possess the following skills, qualifications and experience:

* Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to handle a pressurised environment
Previous experience within the Service Advisor role (desirable)
Basic level of mechanical awareness and a keen interest in the automotive industry
Ability to work independently, and also as part of a team
Organised with the ability to self-manage
Excellent listening and communication skills
Confidence to recommend and upsell additional products and services
A full UK driving licence

Key Responsibilities:

* Interpreting customer concerns and comments and liaising with technicians
Booking/scheduling vehicle services
Liaising with customers about any additional work required
Estimating time and costs associated with repairs
Handling customer complaints
Responding to customer requests
Tracking the vehicle through the workshop
Producing customer invoices

Hours 8.00am -6pm – Monday – Friday

Saturday 8.30 – 1pm – 26 per year
