Location – Sittingbourne
Salary – £11.93 per hour
Hours – 12 noon to 12 Midnight 4 days on 4 days off
We have an exciting opportunity in Sittingbourne for a Shift Cleaner to work for one of our clients. In this role, you will be working full-time from 12 noon to 12 Midnight 4 days on 4 days off
The role would suit someone with previous experience in a similar cleaning role with a good background in an industrial environment
Responsibilities
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the site
* Ensure team members wear PPE protective workwear and follow hygiene protocols
* Identify and communicate any issues to the Hygiene Manager
* Adhere to hygiene, food safety, quality, and health & safety procedures
* Report any concerns and complete the necessary documentation
* Clean designated areas according to instructions and safety guidelines
* Perform routine and special cleaning tasks as required
* Arrive on time for shifts and manage break times effectively
* Complete required documents and records accurately and promptly
* Ensure proper cleaning of machines as per instructions
* Check and report any damages to cleaning equipment
* Provide coverage for team members and areas as needed
* Uphold and drive company safety and high standards
* Identify and implement solutions for continuous improvement
* Perform any other duties as assigned within the scope of the role
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in an Industrial cleaning role would be a distinct advantage
* A working knowledge of COSHH and basic Health & Safety is required
* Must be IT literate and experience of MS works
