Shipping Administrator
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £23000 – £25000/annum Excellent benefits
Working within the Liner Agency division of a large, independent Logistics company. Working as part of a small team dealing predominantly with sales and purchase invoicing and other general administration for the Companies Liner Agency business.
Responsibilities are varied but include:
* Carry out booking procedures accurately, with a ‘right first time’ attitude, to ensure customers receive a high-quality service.
* Responsible for raising invoices including the setting up and maintaining business records and a customer base in order that they are accessible to all members of staff.
* Calculating cost and inputting data accurately
* Processing of purchase invoices.
* Liaising with accounts.
* Monitoring and responding to emails.
The successful candidate will have very strong administrational skills and a keen eye for detail. They will ideally have worked within a shipping, transport or logisitics envrionment previously
