Hiring Experienced Shovel Drivers
Our client in Ellesmere Port (CH65 area) is recruiting shovel drivers asap due to operational growth.
Your Time at Work
Shovel types: Volvo 90 or 120
CPCS Loading Shovel CERTIFICATE is a plus!
Main Duties:
Operating shovel whilst loading and unloading materials in the yard
Ensuring that the standard of the yard is maintained and kept clean and tidy
Handling the product with care to ensure minimum damage at all times
Carry out pre-use checks on shovel and report any damage/faults to manager
Grease shovel as per maintenance schedule
Direct raw material lorries to correct bay and inform QC
Adhering to all Health and Safety compliance policies and procedures in place
Any other adhoc duties

Essential Criteria:
Previous experience operating a loading shovel
Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Good level of understanding and spoken English
Ability to take direction and following instruction

14 £ per hour
16.06 per hour with all benefits like shift attendance etc.
