Responsible for delivery of campaign communications as well as intuitively optimising trending opportunities, you will be skilled at understanding what makes highly engaging social content and confident developing short form video which gets impactful results. You’ll also identify and grow a network of staff and volunteer content champions who are willing to create UGC for our channels.
This isn’t just jumping on the latest trends and memes. We want someone who can plan and produce content based on original ideas, bringing together their own creativity with the expertise and resources of the RSPB.
Responsibilities:
* Create and deliver social marketing content which supports strategic objectives and communication plans
* Develop our channel brand on TikTok in collaboration with creative content team
* Liaise with PR and media teams to stay updated on current affairs which may impact on channel engagement
* Work with the wider social team to implement social media strategy
* Communicate clearly with key stakeholders to help grow understanding of channel opportunities which support impactful results
* Identify key influencers for us to work with on target activity
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
* Proven ability creating video content for TikTok or other social platforms
* Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
* Diplomatic and professional with the ability to work well with all levels of staff
* Passion and empathy for the audience perspective
* Passionate about getting others involved and having fun along the way
* High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
* Assertive and resourceful with a proven track record of getting things done
* Ability to function well under demanding timelines
