                                    40 HOURS PER WEEK

                                    PAY RATE AT £10.35 PER HOUR

                                    DAY SHIFTS ONLY PLUS ALTERNATIVE WEEKENDS

                                    PULBOROUGH, WEST SUSSEX

Our Client well known Nursing and Residential Care Home near Pulborough is looking for Sous Chef to join the team in friendly and full of charm country care home.

                      DUTIES OF THE SOUS CHEF:

*Preparation and cooking meals to the standards set by the care home

*Preparation and cooking meals for the “Meals On Wheels” service

*Assisting Head Chef when needed with tasks like: ordering, controlling and checking in supplies

*Assisting Head Chef with planning the menu for residents

*Supervising and supporting kitchen staff in their tasks

              REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SOUS CHEF:

*Experience in a similar role 

*NVQ LEVEL 2 in Food Production qualification desirable or willing to undertake it

*Understanding of Health and Safety and relevant legislation

*Experience in delivering quality meals in high volumes

*Care Homes or Hospital or similar kitchen experience desirable
