Sous Chef – Busy Banqueting Hotel and Restaurant – Plymouth – £32,000
An exciting new opportunity exists for an experienced chef looking to work as Sous Chef in a small team of 6 chefs catering for restaurant, wedding and function trade.
You will assist the Head Chef in the day to day running of the restaurant producing an excellent standard of food for conference and banqueting style service and TDH menus for the restaurant.
Ideally you will have previously worked in a hotel which caters for weddings, functions and the conference trade, you should have experience of mid to high volume service, have excellent knife skills, be organised, enjoy working as part of a team and have the ability to lead a small team in the absence of the Head Chef.
The ideal candidate will be organised, be an excellent communicator, have some experience at Sous Chef or Chef de Partie / Junior Sous Chef level and be passionate about excellent food and service.
