A fantastic opportunity for an experienced chef has just come up at our clients popular village pub. This is a great opportunity for a chef that's worked in busy pub restaurants previously and enjoys working in a high pace kitchen.
The pub offers traditional wholesome pub food and great British classics prepared from fresh locally sourced ingredients. Menus are changed regularly following the seasons of the year to ensure use of the fresh seasonal produce and our client is seeking an experienced chef to assist the Head Chef.
As Sous Chef you will assist in the smooth running of the kitchen and take charge in the Head Chefs days off. Duties will include helping with ordering, stock control and menu writing and managing junior kitchen staff.
