Sous Chef
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £26000 – £29000/annum
Global Highland is recruiting for a Sous Chef to come join our prestige client in Inverness City Centre.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL…
* Taking deliveries and prep work – ensuring our ingredients are fresh and ready for action
* Working in all sections of the kitchen – including kitchen portering responsibilities
* Participation in in-house and external training to ensure you and the team are at the top of your game.
* Assist the head chef in the design and costing of new seasonal men
Experience/Skills
* Proven past experience in the industry, a recent reference is necessary
* Good knowledge of all sections
* Ability to produce good quality food
* Good oral communication
* Team management skills
* High level of attention to detail
* Good level of numeracy
* Enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge plus those around you
* Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes
* Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work
* Positive and approachable manner
* Team player qualities
