D & R Recruitment are welcoming an experienced sous chef to jump on board and work full time with our well-established customer, in a 4-star hotel based in Hertfordshire. This job is perfect for an experience sous chef, or jnr sous chef who feels it is time to take a step up!

Due to the location, the successful candidates need to drive and have access to transport

The successful sous chef must have experience in fine dining, restaurants and experience with fresh food.

Duties:

* Running the kitchen in the abscence of the Head Chef

* Rota planning

* Stock ordering

* Creating menus and keeping costs under control with the Head Chef

* Maintaining a high standard of kitchen cleanliness

* Have excillent communication skills

* Comply within the health and safety regulations
