Salary: £15 per hour + 100% of tips
Full & part-time both options are available plus flexible shift patterns
Full training will be provided to the selected candidate.
A high-quality dining restaurant is currently expanding its team and is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join them. Their restaurant has gained a fantastic reputation for delivering exceptional dining experiences. They take pride in utilising locally sourced ingredients to create outstanding culinary delights.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a vibrant and fast-paced environment, contributing to the creation of innovative menus and ensuring the highest standard of food quality. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, supporting senior chefs and taking responsibility for your designated section.
Your key duties and responsibilities will include:
* Collaborating with the culinary team to provide input into menu development
* Preparing food under the guidance of senior chefs
* Managing and maintaining the designated section efficiently
* Upholding the highest level of food quality and presentation
* Handling deliveries and managing stock rotation effectively
* Maintaining a positive and professional demeanor with colleagues and customers
* Ensuring cleanliness and proper upkeep of the kitchen and equipment at all times
Requirements:
* Prior experience is preferred but not essential; our client is open to younger and less experienced chefs who demonstrate the necessary drive and commitment to excel in their careers.
* Ambitious and motivated individuals with a passion for food and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.
