We are supporting our client based in the Chichester area with finding a talented and passionate sous chef for their prestigious venue.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the head chef in the daily operations of the kitchen, supervising the kitchen staff, and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standard.

Responsibilities – 

Assisting the head chef with menu planning and recipe development
Preparing and cooking food to a high standard in a timely and efficient manner
Supervising and training junior kitchen staff
Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
Ordering and managing inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients
Assisting with budgeting and cost control
Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the venue
Completion of daily paperwork to comply with food hygiene standards
