Sous Chef
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £26000 – £30000/annum
Taylor Stevenson are proud to be working with our friendly hotel client based in Alfreton looking to appoint a Sous chef to join their ever-growing team.
Responsibilities-
– Assist the head chef in planning and directing food preparation
– Oversee and coordinate kitchen staff activities
– Ensure the quality and presentation of all food items
– Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
– Collaborate with the head chef to create new menu items
– Train and mentor kitchen staff members
– Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
– Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Skills-
– Previous experience as a sous chef or in a similar role
– Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
– Excellent leadership and communication skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Attention to detail and ability to multitask
– Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Working set shifts and working no later than 9pm.
Salary dependant on experience between £26k-£30k
