Are you a Stock Controller with experience working, perhaps, in a food, warehouse or a manufacturing environment? Even better if you are experienced using bar code stock management systems.
We have a temporary vacancy, which could become a permanent opportunity, for an accurate and meticulous Stock Controller to work with our client who specialise in the handling of seeds and human consumption (pulses) finished product.
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be IT literate, with Microsoft Office skills as well as using stock management systems dealing with stock adjustments and amendments. A FLT licence would be useful, although not essential and training will be provided.
Key Stock Controller responsibilities:
* Accountable for maintaining and managing finished product stock control access seeds and human consumption products
* Accounting for and maintaining and managing packaging stock control accurately
* Physically count product in racks
* Manage stock balance of chemical treatment materials
* Produce stock amount and capacity reports for finished product stocks and screening stocks
* Investigate and identify corrective actions for improving stock control discrepancies
* Entering stock onto system and making necessary adjustments
* Replenish and order new packaging material from suppliers
* At all times follow and promote Health and Safety across the site as well as FSQ standards
Personal Stock Controller specification:
* Previous stock control experience in food, warehouse or manufacturing
* Advanced Word and Excel skills
* Detailed and methodical with numbers
* Good understanding of stock control systems
* Good problem-solving skills
* Excellent team player
* Accurate and meticulous
* Excellent data entry skills
* FLT Licence would be useful
