We are looking to recruit a enthusiastic and ambitious Student Co-ordinator to join an amazing team at one of our education establishments based in Blackburn!
This role will involve reaching out to feeder schools, attending job fayres and engaging with potential students to help them progress their education and future career opportunities.
You will promoting apprenticeships, traineeships, workshops and courses that your establishment offers to encourage enrolment.
Offering a permanent contract, full time hours Monday to Friday, basic salary of £21534 – £23338, immediate start with excellent benefits and progression this would be an exciting opportunity for an applicant who wants to start a career in education.
What will you be doing as a Student Co-ordinator?
Using your great communication skills to get in touch with local schools and career advisors to raise awareness of the courses you have on offer
Have the opportunity to get out of the office to meet with potential students at job fayres
Interact with former students of your establishment to create testimonials to promote to schools and potential students
Enjoy raising awareness of career progression for young people
To work alongside the marketing team to promote activities through a range of channels including e-mail marketing and social media
Have the freedom to manage your own appointment diary with events you have signed up to attend which can include evening and weekends
Comminate back with ideas on how you can reach more students
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
You have experience working with young adults, youth work, child services or scouts
Your passionate, driven and an enthusiastic character by nature
Have excellent IT skills and have the ability to learn quickly
Using your great engagement skills to network, build rapport and making strong connections with people from all walks of life
Confident in engaging with all types of people, students, parents, head teachers
