You will need to be able to quickly build rapport with students, have exceptional behaviour management skills and be willing to cover a range of year groups if necessary. As a Supply Teacher you will be required to do the following:
We are looking for someone who:
* is a talented and dynamic Supply Teacher with an edge for creating meaningful learning environments when covering various lessons within Primary Schools
* Has experience of teaching in Secondary settings
* Has a strong, confident classroom presence in order to manage the student's behaviour
* Has experience of working with pupils representing a range of abilities and sensitive to a range of special needs within each class
* Who is able to deal with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the school's policies and procedures
* Is confident with a range of behaviour management strategies in order to uphold high standards of behaviour for learning in line with school policy at all times
* You will have a strong level of experience in teaching and have had to prove yourself on a number of occasions as a Secondary School Teacher. If you are a Qualified Teacher, but not worked as a Supply Teacher before then this role is still suited to you as you will have experienced school life and how to effectively teach under pressure. You will not be required to plan and mark as a Supply Teacher, but you will be excited to do your job to the highest of standards and work effectively with other Teachers in the school.
