Can take Trainee's with personal experience
Driving license not required but of course a great benefit
Self contained professional living 12 flats across 2 sites, purpose built working direct with service users as part of a team
Will consider weekend only and other availability let us know
About the Client:

This is a national based company offer support work to LD clients in Henbury / Brentry area.

The client offers extensive training and support with the role and is a highly professional organisation.

Fab opportunity – young adults 19-23 years old on their first journey living away from family home, so lots of skills building and identifying further training or work opportunities for people.

What we are looking to recruit for a Community Support Worker:

Currently we wish to recruit Support Workers, for Full-Time or Part Time  positions (24 or 37.5 hour contracts).
Wonderful purpose built unit looking after clients with learning disabilities spectrum on a 1-1 and 2-1 basis
Do you like every day to be different you could be day to day support including medicine, community help like shopping, activities like cinema or working alongside them with occupation needs and support. Other areas can involve cooking, assisting living and dealing with challenging behaviour.
Key Duties for a Support Worker:

To deliver Person Centred Care
Providing support at levels working closely with other support workers
Identify at all times the client needs and requirements
Support client to live and work in the community and to live a fulfilling daily life.
Support clients to remain as independent as possible while being supported
Ability to work in a team and create a co-operative, friendly and welcoming atmosphere with the client
About you:

The ideal applicants will have previous experience in a Support role however, we will consider applicants with the right attitude and aptitude for training.
You will have a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients
Applicants will be able to work well as part of a team or work independently.
Must be flexible in the hours you can work, to include being able to work alternate weekends.
An enhanced DBS will be required.
