Our client is a key player in the Fresh Produce sectors majoring on sourcing fruit from three key continents with both a commodity aspect and in addition, a prepared fruit business. As they continue to progressively expand and as part of their on-going strategic priorities, they are now seeking a key individual to be aligned to them on a consultancy basis to create the success they wish to see through the initial phases of their key sustainability journey as their Sustainability Consultant/Manager.

Role requirement:

To be applicable for such a role, you will have performed/deployed similar roles/projects within the Fresh Produce sectors successfully. You will lead and project manage the assignment working alongside key departments and their international grower base, effectively developing, and supporting the deployment of a global sustainability strategy and vision, guiding the business through its first phase of its sustainability journey.

As an expert in the discussed area of sustainability, you will have the skill set and ability to support and collaborate with their teams and growers to drive their sustainability ambition across the entire business ensuring a robust roadmap, tools and systems are in place for goal delivery. Those goals will be needed to be embedded into the core business processes, including leading the development of a centralized reporting system to capture key performance data for their people and planet strategy. In addition, you will ensure the strategy is fit for the ongoing future by staying abreast of key industry and sustainability trends and proactively identify emerging and future risk/opportunities.
