Tapas Chef

Salary : £34000 – £38000/annum
Here at Uva London, we are a newly established cafe and Portuguese tapas bar based in Peckham looking for a Tapas Chef to help us expand our team.
Having only opened recently, this is a great opportunity to join a quickly growing and expanding team of foodies and cook exceptional food from a refined one page menu.
We are looking for an experienced Tapas Chef, preferably with a background in Portuguese cuisine, to join our evening team and spend one day a week cooking a British brunch menu.
Main duties:
* Cooking a variety of dishes from our Portuguese Tapas menu (with the odd Spanish/Italian/French dishes on there as well!) and our Brunch menu
* Working closely with another Chef and kitchen staff
* Following food hygiene standards and maintaining a clean workspace always
* Offering up exciting new ideas for dishes to refresh the menu weekly
About you:
* Former experience in a similar role
* Knowledge around and experience in cooking Portuguese dishes is a plus
* A passionate and enthusiastic foodie
* Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
